Hampton Senior Housing

Emanuel Engineering, Inc., provided structural design services for this four level, twenty-one unit senior living condominium community. The first floor of this building was built with cast-in-place concrete walls, steel framework, and hollow-core precast plank to facilitate an open concept parking garage. The upper three floors utilized prefabricated wood panelized construction. The wood stud walls were used as bearing walls and plywood shear walls. The roof was constructed with prefabricated wood trusses. A concrete masonry unit elevator shaft was constructed within the building envelope to service all floors.
